How we can help
Life can be hard and sometimes a little financial help is needed. The charity offers help to people who live within the parish boundaries of St George’s, King’s Stanley, All Saints, Selsley, who are suffering financial difficulty.
All applications are confidential. The trustees consider grant applications anonymously; only our clerk will know the identity of the applicant. You may also ask for help to make your application.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over; applications for those under 18 should be made by a parent, carer, guardian, or a local charity. Applicants must live in the parishes of King’s Stanley or Selsley.
We can help with:
• Clothing and footwear
• Furniture
• Funeral expenses
• Helping you start work
• Mobility aids
• Post operative support
• Life changing events
• Respite care
• Unexpected emergencies
• Domestic Appliances
This is not an exclusive list - we know that people can face financial difficulties for many different reasons. Grants will generally be made on a one-off basis so are not likely to be ongoing.

If you work with or know of charities in the area that might benefit from a grant from the Trust so they can help people in King’s Stanley, Middleyard and Selsley please let them know about us. We have supported Citizens Advice, Stroud Foodbank, the Door, Homestart, P3 Charity Stroud and our local playgroup and school among others.
